Turn on fog lights or low beams. High beams reflect off fog and reduce visibility.
Drive slower than usual. Fog reduces reaction time and increases stopping distance.
Keep extra distance from the vehicle ahead. Sudden braking is common in fog.
Use lane markings and reflectors as guides when visibility is low.
Overtaking in fog is risky. Stay in your lane unless absolutely necessary.
Clear windshield fog using defoggers and wipers for a clear view.
If fog becomes too dense, pull over safely and use hazard lights.
