UGC NET December 2025: NTA Advises Aspirants to Update Aadhaar and UDID Before Applying

UGC NET December 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for candidates applying for the UGC NET December 2025 examination. Aspirants are urged to ensure that their Aadhaar Card and Unique Disability ID (UDID) details are accurate and up to date before submitting their application forms.
The online application process for UGC NET December 2025 has already begun. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in from October 7 to November 7, 2025. The examination will be conducted in December 2025 and January 2026 across 85 subjects to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges.
NTA Advisory for Candidates
In its official notice, the NTA stated,
“To streamline the process for UGC NET December 2025, all eligible aspirants are advised that the following documents are updated when applying for the examination, in order to avoid any inconvenience to the candidate as also to facilitate the registration process and the processing of their JRF.”
The notice further emphasized:

Aadhaar Card should include the correct name, date of birth (as per Class 10 certificate), latest photograph, address, and father’s name.

Candidates with disabilities must ensure their UDID Card is valid and renewed as required.

UGC NET December 2025: Correction Window
The application correction window will be open from November 10 to 12, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary changes in their forms.
