Why Til Laddu?
– 1 cup white sesame seeds (Til)
– ¾ cup jaggery (Gud)
– 1 tbsp ghee
– 2 tbsp roasted peanuts (optional)
– Cardamom powder (optional)
Ingredients
Dry roast sesame seeds on low flame
Till they turn light golden & aromatic
Let them cool completely
Roast Til
Heat ghee in a pan
Add jaggery & melt on low flame
Stir till smooth (no boiling)
Melt Jaggery
Add roasted til to jaggery
Mix peanuts & cardamom powder
Stir quickly before mixture cools
Mix Well
Grease hands with ghee
Shape small round laddus
Press gently while warm
Shape Laddus
Soft, aromatic Til Laddu ready
Store in airtight container
Stays fresh for 10–12 days
Final Look
Always keep flame low
If jaggery hardens, add 1 tsp warm water
Use black til for deeper flavour
